New owner pulls into Old Station Caravan Park in Wales

Savills, on behalf of private owners, has sold Old Station Caravan Park in New Radnor, Wales to established park operators from a guide price of £699,000.
Previously a railway station but converted to a caravan park in 1966, Old Station has permission for 16 static caravans, 12 touring caravans and a camping field sitting in approximately 6.38 acres (2.58 hectares). Complementing the caravan site is the former station house which has been converted to a holiday cottage and a four bedroom owner’s accommodation incorporating a tearoom.
Richard Prestwich, associate director in the leisure and trade related team in Chester, comments: “Old Station Caravan Park is full of history with the current owner having done an excellent job at creating a stand out holiday product. We are delighted to have secured new owners for our clients.”
