Vantastival 2018

For those of you who just can’t wait, the car park opens at 1pm on Friday and the festival site is open from 2.30pm.  There won’t be access to the site before this time. Access on Friday evening only comes as part of a full THREE-DAY pass purchased in advance.  Friday is a gentle ease in to the festival with as limited programme of events: The Woodland Stage, Firestone Stage and Bar will all be open, while the Volkswagen Main Stage, Crow’s Nest and The Enchanted Garden kids’ area will open on Saturday. All our traders and many of our additional features like the funfair will be open on Friday.
Box Office Opening Hours

Friday 2.30pm – 11.30pm
Saturday 10.30am – 11pm
Sunday 11am – 10pm
Please note: there are no day tickets for 14-17 year olds this year. Teens will only be admitted when accompanied by a parent who holds a weekend camping ticket. Friends or siblings over the age of 18 will not be accepted as the accompanying adult.

We’re teaming up with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles again this year and have a whole host of new and exciting features for you to enjoy over the weekend.  Don’t forget the Volkswagen Campervan Cook-off! Our favourite cooking competition is back and will take place at 4pm on Saturday near the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Centre in the Main Arena. This is a hotly contested competition with a trophy and VW goody bags up for grabs.

Our brand new Crow’s Nest stage will host a whole series of non-music events and workshops during the day and will transform into an Indie Disco DJ set after midnight.

Make sure you also visit the Firestone Music Station for some brilliant music from up-and-coming bands, and a nice chill out area to relax in that sunshine!

PLEASE NOTE: AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS, WE DON’T HAVE CREDIT CARD FACILITIES ON THE SITE FOR WALK-UP TICKET PURCHASES. Subject to availability, there will be cash sales at the box office on Saturday and Sunday but if you wish to make sure you don’t miss out, get your ticket now! CLICK BELOW TO BUY A TICKET:

Getting around

Make sure you can get from A to B by downloading our site map

Important practical info.  Please read!

Our beautiful venue, Beaulieu House, is home to green lawns, shady woodlands and blossoming gardens and we want to keep it that way. Vantastival has always followed a Green Policy, so please use the bins onsite, leave no rubbish behind and take all your camping gear home with you. You can read more about Every Can Counts, one of our Green partners, HERE.

THERE ARE NO CREDIT CARD FACILITIES ON SITE SO PAYMENTS AT THE BOX OFFICE AND ALL VENDORS MUST BE MADE IN CASH.
There is also no ATM on site, so bring as much cash as you think you’ll need for the weekend.

PLEASE BRING WARM CLOTHES. Even when the weather is great it gets very cold at night!Vantastival is a BYOB event. Stop off at Eurospar on your way out of Drogheda to get all your supplies – it’s the last shop before the festival site!  No glass bottles are allowed on site so please transfer any beverages into safe plastic options.

There will also be a bar on site serving refreshing pints of craft beer from O Brother Brewing Company, our craft brewing partners this year, and we’ll also have cans available for purchase! ID will be required at the bar from anyone who looks under the age of 21. The only acceptable forms of ID are passport, driving license, Garda Card or EU National Identity Card.

BBQs are permitted but must be up off the ground and are used at your own risk. No disposable barbecues sitting on the grass.

Only cars staying on site can drive into the car park.  There is a small charge for the car park imposed by Beaulieu House, to go towards the upkeep of the estate and gardens. The charge is €3 for a day or €5 for the weekend.

Cars won’t be permitted to drive into the campsite to unload, with the sole exception of those pulling caravans.

Beaulieu House is just a 5 minute drive from Drogheda, or 10 minutes from Drogheda Bus Station. This year, for the first time, we’re running a shuttle bus service from Drogheda to Beaulieu House and Merchant’s Quay at Drogheda Port daily. (click link for directions)It will run every half hour from 2pm on Friday and from 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday and costs €3 each way.

There’s more practical advice on our info page on our website HERE.

And, finally….…HAVE A BRILLIANT WEEKEND AT VANTASTIVAL 2018!!!!
