The world’s largest trade fair for mobile homes and caravans on the path to growth
This year at CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF from 30 August to 7 September 2014 visitors can look forward to an even larger product range. In addition to Halls 9 to 17, CARAVAN SALON 2014 will also be occupying Halls 5 and 7.0 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. As a result, the world’s largest trade fair for mobile homes and caravans with total space of around 190,000 square metres in eleven halls and the open grounds will offer even more space accommodating all aspects of mobile leisure. CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF will present a total of 580 exhibitors showing mobile homes and caravans in all price categories, basic vehicles, accessories, extension elements, tents, mobile homes, camp sites and mobile home parking facilities along with travel destinations. “In recent years the exhibiting companies have asked us to adapt the hall structure to the increased demand. Messe Düsseldorf as the organizer, and the German Caravanning Industry Association (Caravaning Industrie Verband – CIVD) as the conceptual sponsor, are now complying with this request”, explains Stefan Koschke, Director of CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF.
World Innovations, New Products and Trends
CARAVAN SALON will present around 1,900 leisure vehicles in all conceivable sizes and variations with many different layouts and individually arranged interiors: be it a mini caravan with sleep niche and cooking facility in just a few square metres of space or a rolling, luxury mobile home with bath, bedroom and kitchen – in Düsseldorf everything that the market has to offer will be on show. Tried-and-tested layouts and classic vehicles are features which are just as popular here as the new models and production series for the coming season. In Düsseldorf the manufacturers of a total of 130 caravan and mobile home brands will present a whole range of world innovations, new products and premieres. In this context, there will be particular focus this year on the chassis manufacturers. The new basic vehicles impress through further developments in terms of optical, functional and technical perfection.

The CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2014 is open from Saturday, 30 August, to Sunday, 7 September 2014, on each day from 10 am to 6 pm. For trade visitors and media representatives the fair is already open on Friday, 29 August. Day tickets costs Euro 14 for adults; children, schoolchildren, students and CARAVAN SALON Club members pay concessionary admission. Admission tickets purchased in advance include free travel to and from the exhibition centre on all means of transport within the VRR network on the days of the fair (2nd class on German railways). Admission tickets purchased on the day include free travel from the exhibition centre within the VRR network. CARAVAN SALON 2014 will once again also be offering online tickets to print out at home from early July. From August tickets will also be available from selected ADAC sale points and the DCC.
