Explore, the adventure travel specialists, has unveiled their new Self-Guided programme in Europe. The new tours comprise of 10 walking and trekking adventures, which offer customers the flexibility and freedom to decide on when they travel and enjoy their chosen destination at their own pace. What’s more, all of Explore’s self-guided tours include luggage transfers, providing customers with more time to enjoy and concentrate on their walking.
As one of the new Self-Guided tours for 2015/16 Tenerife and La Gomera is an eight day easy-to-moderate graded walking tour on these two Canary Islands. Customers will hike on El Teide, Tenerife’s iconic volcano; explore La Gomera’s verdant Garajonay National Park and soak up the atmosphere in the harbour town of San Sebastian. Customers can also visit the Botanical Gardens at Juego de Bolas and admire the impressive rock formations. For more of a challenge, Walking in Crete is an eight day, moderate graded walking tour in Crete. Alternatively, Amalfi Coast Trails provides an easy-to-moderate graded walking tour in Italy which costs from €670 per person**. Customers can hike cliff tops and coves on the Sorrento peninsula; escape to the stunning island of Capri and explore the backstreets of Amalfi while admiring the beautiful scenery of the Bay of Naples.
