Three independent music and arts festivals are joining forces this Christmas to offer a Festival Bumper Bundle. Vantastival (1-3 May), Sunflowerfest (31 July-2 Aug), and Spirit of Folk Festival (18-20 Sept) are offering weekend camping tickets for all three events at just €170 per person. A limited number of Christmas bundle tickets are on sale now from http://www.vantastival.com/tickets/.

Describing themselves as “like minded”, these events are boutique in style, operate a BYOB policy, and appeal to a broad range of ages and tastes. Families, young partying singles, day-trippers, campers and campervans are equally welcome. All three festivals eschew commercialism and seek to offer weekend experiences that enrich the whole community.

The award winning Vantastival in Co. Louth is a celebration of campervan culture and provides a platform for new Irish music. The eco-architecture of its magnificent organic stages set into the landscape of Bellurgan Park forms a magnificent backdrop to the remarkably diverse line up. Tent campers are also welcome.

The “Steam Punk Menagerie” themed Sunflowerfest on Tubby’s Farm, Hillsborough Co. Down offers over 120 acts in12 realms. Musicians, poets, comedians, crafters and complementary therapies and interactive kids zone appeals to all ages and tastes.

Spirit of Folk in Dunderry Park, Meath, is an intimate and mellow weekend with traditional, bluegrass and folk music. Their holistic element is centred around the 200 year old Georgian residence and provides a soothing end to the Irish festival summer.
