More exciting launches at The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show 2015

– NEC Birmingham – February 17-22
- Bailey to showcase all new entry level motorhome range
- Wellhouse Leisure to unveil three new van conversion models
Hot on the heels of last week’s new product news, The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show 2015 will see two more well-known brands showcase new models to the public. Visitors will get to see fantastic innovations from these home-grown, award winning firms, Bailey and Wellhouse Leisure, with the latter revealing two of its new products in public for the first time.
Making its debut on the manufacturer’s own stand, Bailey will have its brand new, entry-level, coach-built Approach Advance range of motorhomes. Aimed at the first-time motorhome buyer the Advance shares many of the features and characteristics of the company’s higher specification Bailey Approach Autograph range but with even better value for money.
The Approach Advance is an entry-level, low-profile, coachbuilt motorhome range with four popular layouts (including a six-berth with longitudinal drop-down bed), a narrower 2.35 m body width (almost the same width as the cab) and maximum weights of up to 3,500 kg. This makes the new Approach Advance range, based on the Peugeot Boxer 2.2 Hdi, 130 bhp, Euro 5 engine, easy to drive by anyone with a full UK driving licence, without needing B+E entitlement. Representatives from Bailey will be present at the Show to explain the new range in detail.
Wellhouse Leisure will have three new van conversions models at the Show. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ford Transit, Wellhouse Leisure will reveal a Cinquanta special edition of its Ford Terrier campervan at the February show. With a luxurious, bespoke specification and distinctive appearance, the Cinquanta will also be exclusive as only 50 will be made.
Another all-new, Ford-based campervan from Wellhouse Leisure makes its public debut at the NEC show. Based on the Ford Transit Connect LWB, this compact, two-berth, car-based campervan includes a kitchen and a pop-up roof to maximise the living space inside. It’s under 2m tall, has four seats and will offer fuel economy of over 50 mpg.
Finally, the company will also have a LWB (long wheelbase) version, with high-roof, of its award-winning Wellhouse Ford Terrier (Campervan of the Year 2014). The 5.34m overall length (compared to SWB 4.97m) creates extra space for an L-shape kitchen and a rear, corner washroom with shower and Dometic cassette toilet.
Andrew Whalley, NCC Events managing director, said: “Not only do visitors to our show get to see leading manufacturers launch new products themselves, but they will also get unrivalled inspiration to take a holiday in the great outdoors and be able to browse and buy all the equipment they need.”
With over 350 exhibitors, the Show is a fantastic value, family day out for both the newcomer and enthusiast alike. There’s also the popular Dog Agility feature, Learning Zone, cookery demonstrations, onsite campsite, towing and motorhome manoeuvring lessons and have-a-go free activities for the family.
Advanced tickets start at just at £7*, kids go free, and free parking and a Show Guide are included too.
