The event organisers have taken the decision not to go ahead as planned with the Motorhome and Caravan Show this October and instead to focus on our next show, the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show which will take place at the NEC on 21st to 26th February 2022.

The statement reads: “With only 14 weeks to go until the show, which is one of the largest public events in the country, rules on large, organised indoor events continue to be unclear. We have taken feedback from our exhibitors and while the industry is seeing a huge demand for touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes from the UK staycation boom, there are many challenges in the supply chain which make the timing of this year’s show, and the additional demand it would generate, untenable for some.

We have also consulted with our visitors and although there is a huge appetite for the show, we must put their wellbeing and safety first. For those who have been shielding, a February timeline will also allow them to build their confidence in attending indoor events.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly as we are aware that many of our visitors, exhibitors and suppliers were looking forward to being able to get together as an industry and community.  But you need not wait that long, as the good news is that NCC Events are increasing the scope of the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show in February.

Big thanks must go to our exhibitors who have already come out in support of the February 2022 show. We have secured all the major brands and they can’t wait to reveal their latest innovations and new models when you visit the NEC in February.

For those people who have already purchased a ticket, you can transfer it to the February event, to next October’s show or of course get a refund if you prefer. You will receive an email with more information soon about these options.

Thank you to everyone who has worked on the show to date and in particular the management team at the NEC.  Also, thanks to everyone who has bought a ticket. Your support is highly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you all in February at the NEC in Birmingham.

Diary dates:

The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome show at the Birmingham NEC – 22nd – 27th February 2022
