Explore the Winter Wonderland with Santa’s Grotto, cheeky elves, a Christmas themed scavenger hunt, magic reindeer and dashing dinosaurs, the Santasaurus shows, Christmas storytelling, toy workshop, face-painting, live nativity crib and more!
Ho, Ho, Ho Santa is coming to Jurassic Newpark, Kilkenny, and what better place for Mr Claus to meet all the girls, boys and their families than at one of Ireland’s top family friendly visitor attractions!
Located on the grounds of the 4-star Newpark Hotel, Jurassic Newpark is a dino-themed farm and adventure trail with 12 giant animatronic dinosaurs, new ‘Jurassic Bounce’ covered jump zone, a wildlife pet farm, fairy trail, adventure playground and more! Preparations are already underway for a seasonal transformation which will turn the outdoor space into a ‘Winter Wonderland’ just in time for Santa’s arrival on Friday 17th November!
Sources at the North Pole tell us that an advance team of elf ‘scouts’ decided this was an ideal place to start their Christmas countdown, with plenty of space for Santa’s Grotto and the elves Toy Workshop and lots to see and do for families to enjoy quality time making memories! Mrs Claus is delighted to be staying in the Newpark Hotel for some quality pampering and relaxation ahead of the busy festive season. The Santa Experience at Jurassic Newpark launches from Friday November 17th and runs Wednesday to Sunday weekly right up to Saturday 23rd December.
On arrival at Jurassic Newpark visitors will be welcomed with festive flourishes, twinkling lights, and a Christmas themed scavenger hunt. Make sure to look out for their cheeky elves, magic reindeer, and dashing dinosaurs as you explore. Next head to the snack shack for your complimentary hot chocolate (1 per person) to warm hands and hearts ahead of checking out some of the live entertainment on offer including a ‘Santasaurus Show’ with Santa the dancing dinosaur at The Dino Den, or why not gather round for Christmas Storytelling & fun and games with the delightful and jolly Mrs. Claus. Other festive fun includes face painting, helping elves in the toy workshop, paying a visit to the live nativity crib or simply taking the opportunity to enjoy a magical walk around the Winter Wonderland, decorated with Christmas trees and lights. See if you can spot giant dinosaurs, real reindeer and many other adorable animals at the wildlife pet farm and make sure to visit the elf and fairy trail! Access to enchanted Elf & Fairy Trail.
The highlight of your day will of course be getting to meet Santa at his Grotto, where you can tell him about your Christmas wishes, and how good you’ve been all year! You can also opt to get a festive photo (additional fee). Santa’s helpers are of course all elves, who despite being very busy preparing for Christmas Day, love nothing more than making fun filled festive games for all to enjoy so make sure to visit their workshop where each child will receive a gift to take home.
Tickets to the Jurassic Christmas Experience also include a complimentary 30-minute session on Jurassic Bounce covered jump zone, free play in the playground and adventure trail and fun filled covered carnival games area to your heart’s content!
