Bailey renews mini motor racing team sponsorship for the 2013 season
Bailey is please to confirm that it has renewed its sponsorship of Team Bailey Racing for the 2013 season.
Team Bailey Racing enjoyed a very encouraging debut last year winning 7 out of the BRSCC Mighty Mini Championship 8 races in which it competed. As a result Team Owner Jonathan Lewis has decided not only to re-enter two cars for the Mighty Mini competition, driven by Justin Cooper and himself, but also to develop two more powerful vehicles to enter into the Super Mighty Mini category.
Whereas the Mighty Minis are standard production vehicles and compete as such, the Super Mighty Minis have 30 BHP more power, with a racing gearbox plus updated braking and suspension systems. As a result they can record lap times over 10 seconds quicker than regular models, making them considerably faster and a new and exciting challenge for Jonathan and new team mate Chris Slade.
Commenting on the renewal of the sponsorship Jonathan said:”I am extremely pleased to be a Bailey sponsored driver again for the 2013 season. Building on the debut success we enjoyed in 2012, thanks to their continued support we will be able to run an additional two cars and to compete in two classes in this year’s competition”.
“All the drivers are looking forward to the challenge and bringing home the wins for Team Bailey Racing” he added.
This pastime involves a significant amount of travelling to specific locations with overnight stays being an integral part of the lifestyle. Touring caravans are therefore ideal as a leisure support vehicle for this type of activity and are already widely used for this purpose by this sporting community.
Therefore as part of the sponsorship package this year Team Bailey Racing will be living in the lap of luxury during race meetings where they will have access to a top of the range Unicorn Madrid caravan to use as their support vehicle. This layout features a spacious front saloon and a practical side dinette to provide ample living space during the day and sleeping accommodation for four people at night. There is a well equipped kitchen and large end washroom both providing the on-board facilities often lacking at many of the race venues.
As with all Bailey models this caravan is built using the patented Alu-Tech construction technology meaning it is more robust, more durable and yet lighter than those manufactured using conventional methods and as a result will provide owners with greater protection against the elements to keep them comfortable, safe and secure
