CMT 2013: Knaus presents “Freedom of Design” world first
New digital printing technology allows three-dimensional side wall design for caravans and motorhomes
Shortly before the start of the CMT Holiday Exhibition Knaus Tabbert GmbH) announces another world first that is well worth seeing: In Stuttgart from 12 to 20 January 2013 the manufacturer of motorhomes and caravans presents to trade visitors a new digital imaging technology named “Freedom of Design” for printing the side walls of recreational vehicles. This unique digital printing process allows a brilliant three-dimensional side wall design with a strong depth effect – without any need to use adhesive foils as before. For more than one year the company of Jandelsbrunn, Lower Bavaria, has been cooperating with its Dutch partner Euramax Coated Products BV (www.euramax.eu) to develop the process and realise the project. “Freedom of Design” has its world premiere at the CMT press conference of Knaus Tabbert GmbH that is held on Friday, 11 January 2013 at 3.00 o’clock p.m. in hall 1.
For the presentation of the innovative digital printing technology Knaus Tabbert GmbH chose no lesser model than the also newly presented Eurostar. The new Knaus caravan flagship combines trend-setting technology with innovative design and sets accents in the caravan industry. The manufacturer expects the same from the new side wall design: “In the future individualisation will be of central importance for motorhome and caravan owners,” says Giovanni Marcon, CEO of Knaus Tabbert GmbH. “With ‘Freedom of Design’ we want to show the customer already today where the road may take us in matters of design and look. It is therefore quite possible that this new freedom of design for the side walls also will be used for other group brands and for our motorhomes.” Customers can now order the new Knaus Eurostar with 3D side wall design. Deliveries will then start in summer 2013.
At the CMT exhibition in Stuttgart from 12 to 20 January 2013 Knaus Tabbert GmbH presents all its new caravan and motorhome models in hall 1 and hall 5.
