Knaus presents new caravan flagship and Sport Style caravan; two “Celebration 25 Years” motorhome special models for the anniversary

At the coming CMT Holiday Exhibition that will be held in Stuttgart from 12 to 20 January 2013, Knaus Tabbert GmbH again presents several new motorhome and caravan models. The presentation at the exhibition in hall 1 focuses on the new-developed Knaus Eurostar caravan flagship. Right on time for the first exhibition of the year the former figurehead of the Knaus brand is spectacularly presented anew. With the new Eurostar 2013 Knaus presents a highly automotive caravan with three-dimensionally shaped plastic parts in automobile quality and with specifically developed LED rear lights. The caravan furthermore is equipped with extensive technical features that so far only had been used in motorhomes.  The Eurostar is expected to be available at Knaus dealers early next summer at a basic price starting with Euro 34,890. With the Sport Style Knaus furthermore presents a comprehensively equipped special model of the popular beginner caravan in five layout versions. Providing a price advantage of Euro 2,000 the Sport Style is offered at a price between Euro 12,790 (400 LK) and Euro 18,190 (580 QS) and is now available at authorised dealers. The Knaus motorhome presentation at the CMT exhibition fully concentrates on the 25th anniversary of Knaus motorhomes. With the “Celebration 25 Years” special models two high-class Knaus Sun TI motorhomes with a price advantage of almost Euro 10,000 are waiting for exhibition visitors in Stuttgart. Dealers will sell both models starting from the end of February 2013.

Premiere of the new Knaus Eurostar – automotive-sporty exterior

The new Eurostar is the absolute highlight of this year’s CMT presentation of Knaus Tabbert. As a “motorhome in a caravan” it combines automotive design with trend-setting technology. The new Eurostar is specifically designed for the requirements and needs of technology-oriented customers who intensively use their caravan and attach great importance to  individual equipment. The sporty character of the exterior above all is defined by the specifically developed LED rear lights with glowing elements. This further developed rear light generation in the future also will be a characterising element in other Knaus model ranges. The Eurostar furthermore features impact-resistant, three-dimensionally shaped plastic parts and a luggage compartment that integrates all the important connections (fresh water, 230V). Matching the automotive appearance, the corner steady mounts both at the front and rear feature high-quality chrome trims.

Functional-technical interior with extensive individualisation possibilities

The interior is characterised by a combination of function and technology. The Knaus caravan function floor integrates both waste-water tank and the autarkic package, which results in a low centre of gravity for excellent running characteristics. Furthermore, for example the kitchen especially in the Eurostar 590 FUS features the biggest kitchen drawers ever realised in a caravan. The large stainless steel double sink with integrated drip element, and the distinct bar element are additional highlights. The tasteful furniture concept is rounded off with ergonomically shaped seats in the seating group. The Eurostar in addition offers a wide range of equipment variants for individual customer wishes, ranging from a complex autarkic equipment with integrated fuel cell and gel battery, through to an arctic version. The new Knaus caravan flagship will be available at authorised dealers early in summer 2013 in three layouts (500 EU, 500 FU and 590 FUS).

New Sport Style in five layouts

The hammer-finish side walls of the Sport Style feature additional special model decals. The interior of the sporty-compact caravan is characterised by solid workmanship. Furniture surfaces and the thick edges at table and kitchen surfaces are in velvet elm decor. The kitchen furthermore as standard is made of laminate material. The comprehensively equipped Sport Style is available in five layouts: 400 LK, 450 FU, 500 EU, 500 QDK and 580 QS. The prices for the different Sport Style layouts are Euro 12,790 (400 LK), Euro 14,390 (450 FU), Euro 15,590 (500 QDK, 500 EU), and Euro 18,190 (580 QS). All models are now available at authorised Knaus dealers.

Motorhome presentation focuses on the anniversary of the Knaus brand

For a quarter of a century the Knaus brand also has existed for motorhomes, and has always combined innovation and sportiness with functional design. After the successful introduction of the Traveller in 1988, two current top motorhomes from the Knaus model range are now presented at the CMT in Stuttgart with the Sun TI 650 LF and the Sun TI 700 LEG as “Celebration 25 Years” special models.

The two special models feature comprehensive equipment and among others both as standard come with 15″ alloy rims, body door with window, front bumpers in motorhome painting with LED daytime running lights, 25 years sign outside, electric blind, tempomat cruise control,  “Celebration 25 Years” leather equipment, and leather steering wheel. The  Knaus Sun TI 650 LF special model is available at a price of Euro 63,790, the Sun TI 700 LEG special model at Euro 65,990. With the two “Celebration 25 Years” models customers  benefit from a price advantage of approx. Euro 9,000 with the 650 LF, and approx. Euro 9,500 with the 700 LEG. Both special models will be available at Knaus dealers starting from the end of February.
