Leisure World sells first Bürstner motorhome
…in first week of adding the brand to its three branches across Yorkshire and the North East

Leisure World’s appointment fills gap in Bürstner UK dealer network

The Leisure World Group has sold its first Bürstner motorhome within a week of its display models arriving after becoming an agent for the premium German brand at all three of its branches: Catterick Caravans (Richmond, North Yorkshire), Tyneside Leisure World (Birtley, Tyne & Wear) and Ebor Leisure World (York). Bürstner joins Leisure World’s portfolio of motorhome brands, which also includes Auto-Trail, Elddis, Roller Team and Tribute.
As the only Bürstner motorhome dealer in Yorkshire and the North East, The Leisure World Group expected this highly regarded German brand to attract a lot of interest in this area. Its first Bürstner customers, Mr and Mrs Hilton from Cumbria, traded in their 2010 Bailey Pegasus for a 2016 Bürstner Nexxo T690G Sovereign.
The Nexxo Sovereign is one of three Bürstner ranges available from The Leisure World Group, offering high quality and better value for money for 2016. All have a MAM (Maximum Authorised Mass) of 3.500 kg, plus GRP roofs for better protection from hail storms. Full details are available from www.buerstner.com/uk/.
The other Bürstner models available include the Ixeo range, the first mainstream models with a drop-down, longitudinal bed over the front lounge (from £51,740) and the Ixeo Time Sovereign range. Nexxo and Ixeo Time Sovereign models are exclusive to the UK with a tempting package of additional specification which includes: leather upholstery, roll-out awning; new, 145-litre slimline fridge; new, wider (70cm) entry door, plus an upgraded can with satellite navigation. Prices start from £49,995.
The first 2016 Bürstner motorhomes are now available to view at Catterick Caravans, with deliveries to Leisure World’s other two branches expected in the next few weeks. In addition, Leisure World’s Chris Hankey will be on the Bürstner stand at The Motorhome and Caravan Show at Birmingham’s NEC from 13 to 18 October to meet visitors who want to buy from a local dealer in the north east of England.
