Barbecuing and caravanning – the two belong together. On the first weekend of CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, Saturday and Sunday 27 and 28 August 2011, a presentation in the open grounds between Halls 11 and 15 will thus provide barbecue enthusiasts with information on various appliances, cooking methods and recipes. In a barbecue show practical tips will be provided along with small samples.
The right barbecue for every type of barbecuer
Not all barbecuing is the same. Everyone who is on the look-out for a new appliance at home or for their travels quickly realizes this. But which barbecue is the right one for your own requirements? In their pagoda tents the exhibitors in the barbecuing zone at CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF are presenting barbecues of every design: charcoal barbecues and gas barbecues, chimney barbecues, small mobile barbecues and even a smokeless charcoal barbecue. The appliances on show will be demonstrated and explained in front of the tents. The following brands are represented in the barbecuing zone at CARAVAN SALON: barbecook, LOTUSGRILL, Feuerdesign Grillkamine, outdoorchef, monolith, Umbra Flammkontor and grandhall.
Barbecue show with a master barbecuer
On the barbecue stage the visitors can get instructions in the finer points of barbecuing from a true master of the trade. On both days on the stage, barbecue pro Andreas Rummel will explain the diverse aspects of barbecuing, show various appliances and techniques and reveal professional tricks. Starting with suitable grillable foods and various preparation methods up to the different barbecue models and the difference between grilling and BBQ, the themes covered will also include grilling times and the required degree of grilling or doneness up to safety and hygiene in barbecuing. Inspiration on exceptional barbecue dishes such as stuffed courgette rolls or pineapple with mint sugar is guaranteed and samples of these will also be available.
