OUTDOOR INDUSTRY AWARD 2012 for the Flyweight Jacket from Jack Wolfskin
Ultra-lightweight for Active Trail
Idstein, July 2012 – With the highlights of the summer 2013 collection Jack Wolfskin proves once again their drive for innovation in product development. The ultra- lightweight windproof Trail-Running-jacket Flyweight was awarded one of the coveted Outdoor Industry Award’s 2012.
The FLYWEIGHT JACKET MEN/WOMEN (MEN: 125 gm, size L / WOMEN: 115 gm, size M) is the lightest weight softshell made by Jack Wolfskin. The two-ply FLEX SHIELD SOFTSHELL AIRLITE at 58g/m2 weighs only half as much as a sheet of paper, yet maintains every necessary softshell feature:
It is very elastic, wind- and water resistant as well as extremely breathable. Tiny loop spacers on the back create a “microclimate“ next to your skin, provide the minimal in insulation, and thus differentiate the material greatly from traditional wind shells. Trimmed down to the bareessentials, this softshell can be stowed in a chest pocket or even a hip pocket to carry along anytime. A super lightweight, technical summer softshell that is particularly ideal for running.
