OXO’s new range of food storage containers is set to TOP all others

OXO, the American housewares specialist, has launched a new range of food
storage containers that is set to TOP all others.

The new food storage containers, [www.oxo.com], are the result of
an intensive development process and are testament to OXO’s inclusive
design approach, combining practicality with the ultimate in comfort and
ease of use.

Each container features an innovative lid design that opens and closes with
one easy motion. A simple lift of the white frame on either side releases
the seal and one small press again closes the container to keep contents
safely stored away.

The secure, airtight seal ensures that food remains at its freshest and
prevents leaks even when in transit. All eight containers have a modular
design for neat and organized stacking and nest inside one another when not
in use.

A number of the containers are the perfect size for adult and children’s
packed lunches and midday snacks, helping busy families prepare delicious,
fresh lunches at home to cut monthly outgoings and make more use of the
weekly shop.

OXO’s UK Marketing Manager, Tracy Carroll, says: “This new range has
been several years in the making and is based upon extensive consumer
feedback. Food storage containers are a must in any home, but traditionally
there have been a number of user-based issues such as difficult fastenings
that wear our quickly and the contents leaking. Our design team identified
that there was one key area for improvement and that had to be the lid.

“Each lid is airtight and leakproof, but most importantly takes minimum
effort to open and close. With these containers, anyone can store dry, wet
or fresh foods knowing that when they come to open the box, they can do so
with ease.”

The range is made from clear polypropylene and features a transparent lid
so that the contents can be seen from any angle, and is completely freezer
and microwave safe – just lift one edge of the white frame to steam in
the microwave.

The TOP containers are BPA free, safe for the top rack of the dishwasher,
and are available in eight versatile sizes. Prices range from £3-£9.

Designed to make everyday living that little bit easier, the OXO range
offers over 200 stylish, yet practical tools for the home including
kitchenware, organisational tools, cleaning products and gardening
equipment.
