PICTORIAL – Vantastival 2010
Vantastival was a three-day family-friendly festival held at Dunany Estate in mid-Louth over the May bank holiday weekend.
A full schedule of live music and entertainment on three stages provided a brilliant weekend for all seasoned festival-goers, with further attractions for campervan and scooter owners – trade stalls, competitions, and workshops on the enhancement, upkeep and exhibition of campervans and scooters provided the perfect occasion for admirers to exchange ideas and share their passion for the lifestyle and vehicles.
Two separate campsites were available – one for tent campers, scooter owners and other attendees to pitch tents, and a second with amenities catering to campervans, motorhomes and residential vehicles – but you didn’t have to have a camper or scooter to enjoy the music, craic, children’s activities, swing-dancing, holistic healing area, food and craft fair, and more.
Dunany Estate is a privately owned organic farm near Annagassan in County Louth, surrounded by sea, overlooking the Mountains of Mourne and Dundalk Bay to the North and the picturesque village of Clogherhead to the South. It is situated just a ten-minute drive from the M1 motorway on the beautiful unspoilt east coast, less than an hour from Dublin and Belfast.
