Swift Plans for Expansion
Swift Group, the UK’s largest leisure vehicle manufacturer, is planning a significant expansion on its Cottingham site. A new assembly hall will be built adjacent to the current production facility and will consolidate its Holiday Home business onto one site.
The new facility will also incorporate a large covered storage area for just in time delivery of components. Other civil works complementing this expansion include an enlarged Holiday Home despatch area. This clearly signals Swift’s intent over the coming years to increase its production capacity.
Preparatory works will start over the next few months and the main element of the building work will be completed before April 2018.
