And So I Watch You From Afar will headline the Saturday night at Vantastival this May bank holiday weekend. The Northern Ireland post-rockers are renowned for their live performances and their first two albums were both nominated for the Choice Music Prize.  Their third album All Hail Bright Futures (due for release released 19th March) is their boldest statement yet, an album bursting with a positive vigor from a magnetizing band at its best. Damien Dempsey has already been confirmed to headline the Sunday night of the festival. Among other acts added to the extensive line up include the inimitable Jerry Fish, a highly charismatic performer who’ll bring his carnival style show to the Vantastival audience, as well as RSAG, The Cujo Family and up-and-coming rockers Mojo Gogo and Raglans.

Other notable acts on this year’s bill are as diverse as Altan, Nanu Nanu, In Their Thousands and Daithí.
A host of unsigned Irish acts will also take to the stage in Bellurgan Park, Dundalk, over the May bank holiday weekend.  The festival runs from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May and tickets cost just €89 for three nights camping, or €40 for day tickets. Children under 14 go free.

See www.vantastival.com for more details.
