Just a reminder….
So the time is nearly upon us and the excitement is growing for Vantastival 2011! If you haven’t got your ticket yet you can pick them up in Xtra-vision stores nationwide, or get them online from Lastminute.ie. Tickets will also be available from the box office on arrival.
Just a few things to remember to make your trip as enjoyable as possible:

There is no bar on site so if you fancy a tipple, make sure you bring your own. Glass bottles are not allowed on site so transfer any wine/spirits/buckfast into plastic bottles before you arrive.
Despite the gorgeous weather we have been having, this is Ireland and even if the rain holds off, it can get very cold at night. Bring warm clothes, wet gear and wellies just in case!
If you are bringing children, make sure that you are directed to the Family Camping area. We have loads of kids’ activities going on over the weekend so keep an eye out for the schedule and don’t forget to bring a camera!
Vantastival is a ‘leave no trace’ event and Dunany Estate is an organic farm and equestrian centre so it’s very important to us to maintain the organic status of the land. If you’re a smoker, please bring a tin or some kind of portable ashtray with a lid that you can carry with you so as not to be leaving cigarette butts on the ground. Recycling bags will be available on site and we will happily recycle all of your recyclable rubbish for you. We ask that you take home non-recyclable rubbish and dispose of it in a responsible manner. Remember, metal bottle caps are extremely dangerous to horses’ hooves!
There will be a communal fire outside the Paddy Mirage marquee each night. Individual campfires are only permitted if contained in off-the-ground, purpose built fire holders. If you plan to have a campfire please remember to bring your own fuel. Please don’t burn our fences! Absolutely no fires should be built directly on the ground.
Shuttle buses will run to and from Drogheda and Dundalk during the weekend. For a timetable click here.
There are no Friday day tickets. Day tickets for Saturday and Sunday do not include camping. If you have a Sunday day ticket and want to camp you can purchase a camping wristband at the box office for €10. There is no camping in the campsite for Saturday day ticket holders but there will be a very limited amount of space in the carpark for camping on Saturday night only. Buses will return to Drogheda and Dundalk after the last act on Saturday and Sunday nights.
And finally, don’t forget to have fun!!! We are looking forward to a great second outing at Vantastival.
