Win a caravan plus tow-vehicle valued € 38,000 and 15 trips to a top-class campground
This year’s edition of CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, held from 27 August to 04 September, again offers trade fair visitors the opportunity to be active and win great prizes. One of the programme highlights is the photo design competition sponsored by Caravaning Informations GmbH (CIG), where the winner will walk away with a brand new vehicle/caravan combination including a Fiat Bravo, valued at € 38,000. The competition starts on Monday, 18 July, online at www.caravaning-info.de and at the stand of Caravaning Informations GmbH in Hall 10. The prize will go to the most creative caravan designer, who designs a caravan using his or her most beautiful holiday shot. More information is available online and at the trade fair stand. Everybody is invited to participate, provided they have a funny or extraordinary holiday photo. You may submit your images at the trade fair stand either as a regular print, on a USB-Stick or on any other popular data carrier. Using a specially designed computer program, the image can easily be transferred to the caravan. There is only one condition: The picture should have been taken while on holiday. As far as motifs, there are no constraints whatsoever. Romantic sunsets by the sea or impressions from a ski vacation are equally as welcome as caravaning holiday motifs.
A jury of the experts will decide on the winner on the last trade fair day. The prize will go to the funniest, most original or most impressive image. It may be submitted or presented as a design on the exterior of a caravan. First prize is a vehicle/caravan combination valued at € 38,000. However, the other prizes are nothing to sneeze at, either. Participants may look forward to a total of 50 vacations on award-winning campgrounds by LeadingCampings.
Time-travel through five decades
The 50th anniversary of the trade fair is reflected at the stand of CIG. The motto is “Time-travel 50 years CARAVAN SALON”. Using original backdrops – such as a living room from the sixties or a kitchen from the seventies – original films from the corresponding decade are shown on large screens. The scenes include impressive moments, such as the moon landing, the German victories at two soccer world championships, the fall of the Berlin wall and much more. Trade fair visitors may also have their pictures taken before the original backdrops.
CIG will also reflect on TV programming of the past 50 years. Unforgettable quiz shows are being recreated, and trade fair visitors may participate as candidates. There are many prizes to be won here, as well.
