International real estate advisor Savills, on behalf of a private client, has brought to market Cornish Farm, a diverse profitable business with multiple income streams and substantial detached family home with self-contained annexe, in Taunton, Somerset, for a guide price of £2.5 million.

VanBitz, a nationally renowned motorhome accessory installation business which operates from two workshops, an office, sales suite and shop adjacent to the workshops. Cornish Farm Touring Park is located adjacent to the Van Bitz workshops and is developed for a total of 50 pitches. A detached toilet block provides toilets, showers and laundry facilities. The park is secured by an electric barrier system, with a park reception building adjacent to the main entrance and has been graded four gold pennants by the AA for 2021.

Cornish Farm is a substantial four bedroom house dating back to the 1830s, with an adjoining three bedroom annexe/cottage which has the potential to be incorporated into the main accommodation. To the rear of the main residence there is a gated courtyard with storage buildings which were originally stables and a trap house. There is also a stone built single storey workshop and an al fresco dining/BBQ area. The property, which has a total landholding extending to approximately 3.64 acres (1.47 hectares) includes two separate businesses.

Cornish Farm is situated close to Taunton with access to the M5 motorway (junction 25) within approximately four miles, providing access further into the South West and to Bristol City and airport. The County town of Taunton provides an excellent range of shopping, recreational and scholastic facilities, together with a main line rail link to London Paddington. There is ample opportunity for exploring the surrounding area which the South West is noted for, including Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks, Blackdown Hills and the Jurassic coastline to the south.

Chris Sweeney, Director in the Leisure and Trade team, says: “This is a unique opportunity to purchase a diverse profitable business with a large and beautiful family home with self-contained annexe.”
