WI-FI NOW FREE AT MAJORITY OF CAMPING AND CARAVANNING CLUB SITES

Free Wi-Fi is now available at more than 85% of Club Sites across the UK, and coverage and range has been extended at 29 Club Sites over the winter season.

The average Wi-Fi speed at the majority of Club Sites should, under usual circumstances, be perfect to shop online, search and book campsites or check emails and social media.

Bob Hill, Sites Director at The Camping and Caravanning Club, said: “We’ve invested in our on-site Wi-Fi over the winter in response to feedback from our members, who increasingly want to stay connected during their stay.

“While we’re big advocates for disconnecting from technology when enjoying the great outdoors, we understand that sometimes a quick check of the emails or the ability to plan an onward journey can help make life a little easier.”

The Club has invested more than £500,000 in extending Wi-Fi coverage in recent months. Campers staying at Club Sites open year round, including Oxford and Canterbury will be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi from today and free Wi-Fi will be available at other Sites as they open in the coming weeks.

For more information about Wi-Fi access on Club Sites visit www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/wifi.
