An exciting new opportunity for fans wanting to enjoy everything the legendary Indianapolis 500 race weekend has to offer is now available for the 98th running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 25.

For the first time ever Indianapolis 500 fans will have the opportunity to rent a limited number of high quality weatherproof set-up tents featuring a variety of amenities in the IMS infield during the 2014 Indianapolis 500 race weekend, May 22-26.

Only 250 spots are available on a first-come-first-served basis with specific packages including queen beds or twin beds, and as many as two to four canvas sleeping cots per tent, with all packages including pillows and blankets. Each tent package will include one parking pass allowing a standard car or SUV to be parked near the area of the Glamping tents in the IMS infield.

Additional amenities for all Glamping tent packages at IMS include a table with two chairs, a tarp floor, private restroom and shower facilities, a private lock and access to cell phone charging stations, ice and water sales. There will also be a community area with grilling stations.

Indianapolis 500 general admission race day tickets with general admission tickets for Coors Light Carb Day on Friday, May 23 and Legends Day on Saturday, May 24 are included in each IMS Glamping tent package for how many individuals are staying in each tent. Each person staying in a tent in the IMS infield must have an Indianapolis 500 race day ticket, and tickets to Coors Light Carb Day and Legends Day.

Glamping tent packages range in price from $600-$900 for four days / five nights. Check-in begins Thursday, May 22 any time after 8 a.m., with check-out Monday, May 26 prior to 11 a.m.

All customers will receive complete instructions on the tent rentals and how to access the tents upon arrival. For more information on this unique and historic opportunity, and a photo gallery of the Glamping tents and their amenities, visit: www.IMS.com/Glamping
