Into The Deep festival at Titanic Belfast

TITANIC BELFAST’S annual Into The Deep festival is back! Come and join us for our special celebration of National Marine Week from July 27 to August 11.

Each day, Into the Deep will allow budding scientists to explore the oceans through family friendly talks by marine experts, on various topics such as local marine life, ROVs (Remote Operated Vehicles) and the new NI Marine Bill.
Expect other surprises too, including Nautilus Live, a live link from the exploration vessel Nautilus, under the direction of Dr Robert Ballard, the man who found the wreck of RMS Titanic in 1985.

ROV’s from Forum Energy Technologies, which are similar to those used in the discovery of the wreckage of Titanic, will be on display.

Titanic Belfast’s touch tanks will give visitors the chance to get up close and personal with local marine creatures. Our marine-themed arts and crafts, as well as exciting hands-on science experiments, will be great for intrepid young explorers.

Into The Deep at Titanic Belfast is hosted in partnership with Ulster Wildlife, Nautilus Live, Sea Research Foundation, JASON Learning and the Ocean Exploration Trust.
There will be two Into The Deep sessions each day of the festival; running from 2pm to 4pm and from 4.30pm until 6.30pm.

Tickets cost £5.50 per person or £20 for a group of four.
