We are looking forward to welcoming all the hard-working dads this Sunday for a special Father’s Day celebratory lunch in the Titanic Suite, where Afternoon Tea also takes place every Sunday. There isn’t a more unique venue in the city to treat dad this weekend.
Enjoy lunch with him and the family overlooking the historic Titanic slipway where the great liner was built, and dine next to the Grand Staircase in the Titanic Suite, where you can also get a memorable family photo from the occasion. The hugely popular Game of Thrones Exhibit in the Andrews Gallery is running until June 17, and with demand to visit being so big, the exhibition of props and costumes from the global HBO TV hit, is now open to everyone. So, if you don’t have an allocated ticket for the Game of Thrones Exhibit you are welcome to come along and join the ‘walk up’ queue.
Every weekend Titanic Quarter Chaplin Chris Bennett hosts his Titanic Pilgrimage on the Titanic and Olympic Slipways. The reflective and emotional talk with Chris is free of charge. Meet in the Atrium at Titanic Belfast every Friday and Saturday at 2pm for the start of the Pilgrimage.
Chris said: “I like to think the Titanic Pilgrimage is added value for the visitors experiencing Titanic Belfast. Depending on numbers and questions asked, we usually take around 30 to 45 minutes to walk up and down the historic Slipways, reflecting on the story of Titanic through first-hand witness accounts and other recordings of the disaster.”
On June 29, we will be hosting the first annual Titanic Book Day in the Andrews Gallery. Come along and meet the authors of some of the most popular Titanic Books and browse the many Titanic books available to purchase in the award-winning Titanic Store.
And, when the sun comes out to play, we have the wide open space on the Titanic and Olympic Slipways overlooking the Belfast Lough, where everyone is welcome to play, sunbathe, or picnic on!
