Beyond its iconic caravans, Airstream Inc is also eager to establish a European presence for it’s motorised Interstate model, which has been developed on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.

The Interstate marries exquisite styling and design with car-like handling and performance. Powered by a state of the art Mercedes-Benz turbodiesel, the Interstate delivers excellent fuel consumption and can tow up to 2,250 kg – 2,900 kg. Safe driving is supported by a range of onboard features including 6 safety air bags, collision prevention assist, lane keeping assist, blind spot assist, high beam assist and parking assist.
The luxury interior, including a fully-equipped bathroom and galley, is appointed with a variety of stunning colours, finishes and fabrics, and numerous floorplan options allow you to choose the seating, socializing and sleeping arrangement that best fits your individual preference. There is belted seating for up to nine adults and comfortable sleeping accommodation for two. The latest entertainment and multimedia systems are found throughout the cabin with a wifi enabled seven inch touch-screen, compatible with iPhone®, Android®, MP3 and Bluetooth®, in the dash, and LED HDTV and Blu-ray to the rear.

The headquarters of Airstream Inc. is located in Jackson Center, Ohio, and the company belongs to Thor Industries – the world’s biggest manufacture of RVs and touring coaches. Airstream was established in 1931 by Wally Byam and is the oldest RV manufacturer still on the market. Airstream today is represented not only in the USA and Europe but also Asia and Australia. The iconic Airstream travel trailer has fans all over the world including celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock and Denzel Washington.
In 2004 Airstream decided to enter the European market with a special European specification fleet of trailers. Since then, Airstream trailers in European specification have been sold to 15 different countries in Europe.
