Savills, on behalf of a private family-owned business, has completed the sale of St Lawrence Holiday Park in Southminster to Best Holdings (UK) Limited for an undisclosed sum.
The well-established holiday park within the coastal area of Southminster has been developed to accommodate 191 caravan holiday homes. The property spans approximately 15.71 acres (6.36 hectares) and benefits from a public house known as St Lawrence Inn as well as a private beach. It has been in the same family ownership for the past 80 years and the park has achieved a number of awards including a silver David Bellamy Conservation Scheme Award, Visit Essex finalist for best park in Essex and Welcome host gold standard.
The property is set in a rural location within the village of St Lawrence, adjoining the River Blackwater in Essex. The area draws in visitors from around the region who come to enjoy water sports and the variety of attractions such as Bradwell Marina, The Maldon Promenade Park, Maldon Barges, Madison Heights Family Entertainment Centre, Blackwater Leisure Centre and Burnham Golf Club.
