SEAT Ireland has just launched a roof box rental service, available to SEAT customers across its 23-retailer network.

The rental service offers SEAT customers a convenient travel solution that is ideal for those planning a staycation in Ireland this summer.

The service provides SEAT customers with a roof box and roof rails which will be fitted at their local retailer. A qualified SEAT technician will fit the roof box in under half an hour while the customer waits. This service is available to SEAT customers and the roof box can be fitted on all SEAT models.

The SEAT roof box offers customers up to 460L of storage, in addition to their boot space. The roof box is designed with simple loading and unloading in mind; with the roof box being able to be opened on both sides. Customers can also be reassured that it comes with a central locking system that locks the box securely in three places.

The purpose of the campaign is to make our customers staycations in Ireland more affordable and as an example, the SEAT Tarraco roof box and bars normally retail at €1,087 but are now available to rent for a fraction of the price.

So whether it’s a trip with friends in a SEAT Leon or a family adventure in the award winning seven-seater SUV SEAT Tarraco, customers can travel in comfort with peace of mind knowing the roof box has been professionally fitted by one of SEAT’s qualified technicians.

Speaking about the new service, John Cunningham, Head of Aftersales at SEAT Ireland said, “Roof boxes are often used once or twice a year for staycations and difficult to store, so we’ve come up with a great solution for our customers to avail of a rental service. As well as offering fantastic value for money, the service will provide SEAT customers, travelling at home or abroad, with installation as part of the rental. At SEAT, we’re constantly thinking about our customer needs and how we can create mobility solutions for them, and we’re delighted to be able to provide this new service across our retailer network”.

The roof box rental are available now at SEAT retailers across the country
