Spey Bay Golf Course & Caravan Park in Scotland changes hands

Savills, on behalf Links DAO, has completed the acquisition of Spey Bay Golf Course and Caravan Park in Fochabers, Scotland, from a guide price of offers over £750,000.
The property extends to approximately 156 acres (63.14 Ha) and comprises an 18-hole golf course, club house premises, driving range and a camping and caravan site. It is the first UK site for the company who will be looking to develop it into a hub for their members.
The golf course is located on a stunning part of the Scottish coastline at the mouth of the River Spey with easy access to Aberdeen, Inverness and onwards to centres in the south. Designed by the distinguished Scottish professional golfer, golf teacher and golf course designer Ben Sayers, the Spey Bay Golf Course was opened in 1907.
Spey Bay is located approximately 5 miles north of Fochabers on the coast of the Moray Firth and on the eastern side to the mouth of the River Spey.
Justine Morris, Associate Director in the leisure and trade-related team at Savills, says: “This is a beautiful golf course located on the popular Moray Coast with the added benefit of a caravan and camping park with lots of potential.”
