Celebrate the World Flower Show 2014 at Powerscourt Estate, featuring one of Ireland’s most beautiful gardens.  Join Floral Artist Camelia Austen at Powerscourt Garden Pavilion in Enniskerry, County Wicklow on 11th June at 10.30am for a morning of floral culture from across the world. Start the journey in Europe with a Venetian masquerade mask and travel to Asia for a stylized traditional Chinese water carrier.

From there hop across to Australia to see a stunning floral wave inspired by the Australian surfing paradise. Then move swiftly to Africa and its exotic fiery blooms where Camelia will create a stylish floral accessory. The next step of the journey is America, illustrating the old American ‘bigger is better’ concept with two giant hand-made flowers. And then back to Europe, to Ireland, the 2014 host of the WAFA, where Camelia will design a green umbrella. Tickets for this exciting floral art demonstration cost €5 and can be booked online at www.powerscourtgardenpavilion.com/events.

About Camelia Austen: Camelia is the floral designer behind Austen Flowers Events & Flower School in Wicklow town.  Austen Flowers studio is not a traditional florist shop, they specialise in weddings and events and flower arranging classes. By using unexpected colour combinations and unusual props, their designs challenge the notion of a ‘floral arrangement’. They bend the rules of traditional flower arranging to create stunning bouquets and bold and large floral decor with the utmost respect for the flowers themselves.
