Deal brings insurance savings to caravan owners with battery powered TRACKER Retrieve units

Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) expert, TRACKER has joined forces with one of the UK’s leading caravan and motorhome insurance specialists, Caravan Guard. The exclusive deal will give consumers purchasing any 2013 Swift Group caravan, access to 25% discount off the price of their caravan insurance premiums with Caravan Guard due to standard fit Battery Powered TRACKER Retrieve units

The deal means that 2013 Swift, Sterling, Sprite and Bessacarr caravan owners will receive a 25% tracking device insurance discount from Caravan Guard. As all 2013 Swift Group Motorhomes are also sold with a TRACKER unit installed, owners will automatically receive a 27.5% discount off their insurance premiums thanks to Caravan Guard’s arrangement with TRACKER.

Owners of other caravan makes who choose to retrofit a Battery Powered TRACKER Retrieve can also benefit from a 15% discount.

Caravan Guard currently caters for the insurance needs of over 75,000 leisure home owners demonstrating the expertise of the business within the caravan and motorhome insurance market.

“Each year around 1400 caravans are stolen in the UK*, the offer from  Caravan Guard will help leisure home owners save money and sleep safe at night knowing their holiday home on wheels is protected by our SVR technology,” says Stephen Doran, Managing Director of TRACKER.

TRACKER was chosen exclusively by Swift Group as one of the most effective tracking systems available to be fitted to all its 2013 caravans and motorhomes.  With 20 years’ experience, it is the only vehicle tracking company supported by all UK police forces, therefore providing unrivalled protection.  Powered by its own battery it is ideal while the vehicle is in use or in storage.

Craig Thompson, Associate Director of Caravan Guard says “We were impressed by TRACKER’s initiative which ensures that every 2013 Swift Group caravan or motorhome is fitted with a Battery Powered TRACKER Retrieve unit.  The Battery Powered TRACKER Retrieve device has its own power source and is a big advantage for caravan owners who do not use their caravans for long periods over the winter. We wanted to extend that offering with highly competitive insurance premiums to demonstrate our confidence in the device.”

Stephen Doran, Managing Director of TRACKER continues, “We are delighted to announce this deal with Caravan Guard, combining our award winning SVR technology with an award winning specialist insurance provider. Their confidence in our Battery Powered TRACKER Retrieve unit demonstrates that we continue to develop products and partnerships that will help leisure home owners to protect their assets as we close the net on caravan thieves.”
