Truma has been ranked among the most popular accessory brands in four product categories

In the camping community, Truma is a brand people trust. This is certainly what the readers of the

specialist magazines ‘promobil’ and ‘Caravaning’ think, as they established themselves as the trend

barometer for the image of the most popular motor home, caravanning and accessory brands at the

start of the year. Overall, the two magazines, which are published by Motor Presse Stuttgart, included

20,488 notarially certified readers (‘promobil’: 14,037, ‘Caravaning’: 6,451), who voted for their

favourite brands across all the essential market product segments.

Truma scooped awards in three product categories, thanks to the readers’ votes. Truma secured third

place with its Cooler portable fridge/freezer in the ‘Refrigerator’ category. Readers awarded Truma

second prize in the ‘Air conditioning systems’ category, with it being a close call between Truma and

the first place spot when compared to the previous year. In the ‘Heaters’ category, the readers of

‘promobil’ and ‘caravaning’ ranked Truma number one. An overwhelming 81.2% of the readers voted

Truma heaters their first choice.

For the seventh time in a row, the caravanners ranked Truma Mover as their second favourite brand

in the Manoeuvring systems category.

“We’re truly delighted that the camping community really appreciates Truma products and that over

the past year we have been able to draw on the findings of the Open Innovation principle and develop

our products even further. We want to be worthy of the trust that has been placed in us by developing

solutions to make camping even more comfortable and connected”, explains Martin Eichelbr nner,

Managing Director Commercial of the Truma Group.
