Cully & Sully are set to return to Vantastival this year as sponsors of the incredibly popular Campervan Cook-off. The Cook-off poses a colourful spectacle as a circle of vintage VW campervans take part in a ‘ready, steady, cook’ style competition with each contestant producing a two course meal from a list of provided ingredients, using only the cooking facilities in their campervan. Fun-loving makers of soups and pies, Cully and Sully will be bringing their own campervan to Bellurgan Park on Sunday 4th May to MC and judge the competition, which will take place at 3pm in the main arena. One of a number of quirky features at Vantastival, the Cook-off always draws a large crowd and there is fierce competition amongst the campers taking part.
This year the festival has also declared the 4th of May “Star Wars Sunday” and campers are encouraged to dress up as their favourite Star Wars character for the day. May The Fourth Be With You!
Vantastival takes place at Bellurgan Park, Co. Louth, over the May bank holiday weekend, 2nd – 4th May. The festival is known for its chilled out vibe and friendly atmosphere as well as the diversity of its music. Tickets are on sale now at €95 for three nights camping with no charge for bringing a campervan and tent campers are also welcome. Sunday day tickets are available at €45. Vantastival is also a BYOB event.
