Celebrate Heritage Week at Powerscourt Estate! Join the largest motor club in Ireland on the 18th of August, the Irish Vintage and Veteran Car Club (IVVCC) for their 36th rally at Powerscourt. This event is held annually at the Estate and is one of our most enjoyable events. Chat with motor enthusiasts and marvel at the stylish array of vintage vehicles at the event!

Past runs at Powerscourt have featured a 1926 Rolls Royce, a 1920 Singer 10 HP and a 1930 Austin 7. The star of the show will be Lord Powerscourt’s 1937 Ford Model ‘Y’ which its current owner is bringing home to the Estate for the event.  With over 150 cars expected at this year’s event, there are sure to be plenty of classics for you to enjoy!

Everyone is welcome to come dressed to impress in their best vintage clothes! Many car owners dress up to match the age of their vehicles so expect plenty of razzle dazzle such as feminine flapper dresses from the roaring 20’s. Prizes are awarded for best dressed male, female and families.

Everyone is welcome to come along to this event which is free of charge and wander around the vehicles and have your photo taken alongside these stunning vintage vehicles.  Music plays a big part in the relaxed atmosphere and there will be live music at the event.

Bring your family and friends and make a day of it by visiting Powerscourt Gardens. Stroll through the elegant, formal Italian Garden, enjoy the colours and scents of the herbaceous border and explore the hidden grottos and walkways of the Japanese garden. Relax after your walk with afternoon tea at the Terrace Café. A family ticket to Powerscourt Gardens for 2 adults and up to 3 children is great value at €25.

Venue: Powerscourt Estate, Enniskerry, County Wicklow.
