Wellhouse Leisure has moved and expanded into larger premises, which has also created four new jobs.

The new 16,000 ft² premises are in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, which gives Wellhouse Leisure 60 percent more space for its factory, parts warehouse and offices than its previous location in Huddersfield.

As before, customers are still welcome to visit Wellhouse Leisure, however, during the current COVID-19 pandemic, this must be by appointment only. These can be pre-booked by calling its new telephone number: 00441226 668800.

Production has already started at the new premises and the extra space now allows Wellhouse Leisure to produce its new Ford Transit Custom and Toyota Proace campervan models, plus conversions of imported models such as the Toyota Alphard, all in the same place.

“After many successful years in Huddersfield, we had out grown our previous premises and needed somewhere bigger. Our move went well, and the extra space at our new place means we can work more efficiently, plus the access for deliveries and customers is also much better. Best of all, we’re still really proud that we can still say that our campervans are ‘made in Yorkshire’,” said David Elliott, CEO and founder of Wellhouse Leisure.

Wellhouse Leisure has social distancing measures in place for any visitors and can arrange safe delivery of new campers to customers nationwide. In addition, video tours of any vehicle are currently being offered via WhatsApp.
