To Show Off Produce & Create Festival Dishes With A Difference

The Westport Festival of Music and Food which, takes place in Westport House, on Saturday and Sunday, 28 & 29 June, is looking for the finest local artisan food producers to participate in the family friendly boutique festival by creating a range of festival dishes with a difference.

Artisan food stands will be located in The Food & Wine Magazine Village beside The Chef’s Kitchen where Ireland’s top gastronomic gurus including Rachel Allen, Clodagh McKenna, Darina Allen, Ross Lewis (Chapter One), Derry Clarke (L’Ecrivain), Noel McMeel (Lough Erne Resort), Neven Maguire (MacNean House), Seamus Commons (Knockranny House, Westport) and Frankie Mallon (An Port Mor, Westport) will prepare delicious mouth-watering dishes using locally produced, seasonal ingredients from the locality.

The organisers of the Westport Festival of Music & Food are looking for a diverse range of local foods or dishes made with the best of local produce including Seafood, Lamb, Beef, Venison, Dairy, Fruit and Vegetables etc to be served in The Food & Wine Magazine Village.

Joan Collins from Westport Festival of Music & Food explains “ We are looking for creativity and would love artisan foodies to create a special dish for the festival, with their own twist on a classic or a festival theme.   This is an excellent opportunity for food producers to showcase their produce, or product in a busy and fun environment.”

For further information or an application form, please contact Joan Collins on 086 7974066 or email pauljoan100@eircom.net.  All application forms must be returned to Joan Collins, Doon, Westport by 31st March 2014.
