Wave – the perfect wave with Vittel & Knaus

Jandelsbrunn. Aggressive on the racetrack, yet completely relaxed in the paddock: In the ADAC GT Masters, Fabian Vettel (20) sits behind the wheel of a yellow‐green, 550‐hp Mercedes AMG GT3 nicknamed „yellow Mamba‟ and sponsored by the MANN‐FILTER HTP team. However, to get to the racetrack, Vettel rides in the comfortable KNAUS L!VE WAVE 650 MX. „When I’m not in my racing car, I need rest and relaxation in order to recharge my batteries. In my ’Knausi’, I am really able to tune everything out,‟ says the younger brother of Formula One star driver Sebastian Vettel (31).
It’s no wonder then that the compact and between 6.98 and 7.52‐metre‐long (depending on the version) KNAUS L!VE WAVE (prices begin at €53,990) handles as well as a VAN TI and is as flexible as an alcove – in other words: the perfect wave. Modern design, an excellent price‐performance ratio and the proverbial KNAUS quality turn it into a winner. Five layouts with up to six places to sleep are available. The secret: the comfortable lifting bed available as a standard in all layouts (195 x 123 cm for the 650 MX). In the 650 MX version (with a 130‐hp engine; prices begin at €56,640), a luxurious queen‐sized bed (192 x 162 cm) is located in the back. Moreover, KNAUS offers another advantage, too: The spacious seating area is ideal for meeting with the race engineers.
Fabian Vettel has been a professional racing car driver for two years. He launched his career in 2017 in the Audi Sport TT Cup and in 2018 he raced in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Philip Ellis (26), who is from Munich, is the team colleague of the Heppenheim‐based Vettel in the ADAC GT Masters. There is another pilot of the MANN‐FILTER Teams HTP racing in the ADAC GT Masters series and who enjoys the advantages of a KNAUS L!VE WAVE 650 MX, when he travels to the racetrack: the Dutch pilot Indy Dontje (26), who shares the Mercedes cockpit with the German Maximilian Götz (33). A tip: The racing calendar can be accessed via www.adac‐gt‐masters.de.
By the way: on 20 – 23 June, the HTP ADAC Motorsports Team will be racing in the 24‐hour race at the Nürburgring with a truly unique racing car – you will not want to miss it.
The executive Wim de Pundert and Reynier de Pundert launched HTP Motorsport in 2013. The team immediately joined the ranks of the leading teams in international GT sports. Knaus Tabbert GmbH is also part of the Dutch Investment Company HTP Investments B. V. The Jandelsbrunn‐based company is a partner of HTP Motorsport. The employees are therefore front and centre when the race involves HTP Motorsport.
