The CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf is the highlight amongst all the motorhome exhibitions every year. So it is no surprise that MORELO will launch its brand new luxury motorhome PALACE during this exclusive event. What we know already: the new PALACE will surprisingly come with an even more remarkable design than before and with technical highlights, which already fascinated the MORELO fans during the presentation of the MORELO EMPIRE. The CEOs Jochen Reimann and Reinhard Löhner are proudly telling: “The new PALACE is the proof that we always want to offer simply the best to our customer. The PALACE has always been a gem amongst our models but we managed to make it even better.“

All MORELO fans should be thrilled: the new PALACE is not only an absolute eye catcher optically. With its powerful 205 bhp engine, the PALACE is equipped with an eight-gear automatic transmission and is also available in a “wide axle” version. It was Fahrzeugbau Meier, a truck chassis tuning company nearby Nuremberg, who developed this special axle. Compared to the standard version it is 20 cm wider and improves the driving performance of the vehicle. The front wheels are assembled further outwards in an improved position in the wheel case – a convincing First Class detail, also from an optical point of view.

However, it is not only the outer appearance of the new PALACE. In the upcoming Season MORELO also counts on electrical components “Made in Germany”. “We decided for Büttner Elektronik – a company with more than 25 years of experience in motorhome technology”, discloses Jochen Reimann. The MORELO PALACE is still available as a LINER version on IVECO Eurocargo and MERCEDES Atego chassis, so on all the chassis hitherto offered. The luxury motorhome producer offers optionally a significantly bigger 200l diesel tank for all models built on IVECO Daily . Given the fact that safety is very important to MORELO, this big tank may also be used in combination with a retarder.

Regarding the design, the new PALACE comes with an unambiguous statement: clear, elegant and dynamic. The design of the rear end is incomparable: the new rear spoiler is not only good for optimising the driving behaviour but also for keeping the rear end clean and it certainly is another eye catcher. From now on, the awning comes integrated into the roof side line, painting an even more homogeneous picture. A sturdy underride protection, steel valves instead of rubber valves, with improved resistance to the high pressure in the tires, as well as optionally available aluminium rims with highest load capacities contribute to more safety.

The outer dimensions of the new PALACE will not change. Depending on the floor plan, the new PALACE has a length of 8 to 9,5 m. The width remains at 2,4 m – optionally in XL-format 2,5 m. The height is 3,43 m. In the heated garage there is plenty of space for bicycles, motorcycles or, in the G-model, even a SMART car. The heated 420 mm high double-floor is accessible by the outer service flaps and presents additional storage space for luggage, table and chairs. The heating system is based on an ALDE hot water heating with real floor heating as standard equipment, a towel radiator in the bathroom, and an adjustable heating circuit for the sleeping room and the garage. The new entrance door comes in XL width, which makes it even more comfortable for the customer to enter the motorhomes large entrance area. You may open and close the door with a code lock without needing a key or alternatively with a remote control. In the living room, there are spacious overhead lockers and drawers for the storage of personal belongings. A well thought interior design, enables the living room of the PALACE being 100mm wider than in other comparable vehicles.

Also inside, a clear design creates a highly precious overall appearance. Extra slim A-columns and a new panoramic windscreen with a strong heating guarantee a clear all-round visibility. As usual, the decor is selected individually. There are some new possibilities concerning the available table top surfaces for example, called „lava, stone, quarz or granit” as well as new upholstery possibilities. Within the new decor line LIFE a new, lighter timber colour with the name of “Aralie” is now available.

The unmistakable, independent MORELO dashboard has now an intelligent ventilation system to keep moisture away from the windscreen. The windows in the driver’s cab are produced from 100% insulating flat glass. Inside of the windows there is a dividable roller blind / flyscreen system mounted. In the centre of the dashboard, it is possible to install a 9-inch navigation system, which can be slightly turned around so that it may conveniently be operated by the driver or alternatively by the passenger. The outer and inner panels consist of stable, corrosion resistant aluminium alloy. Regarding the insulation, MORELO trusts in a hydrophobic, especially light RTM-foam, with a thickness of 40 mm. A highly stable and cold-spot-free wall joint technology using highly compressed rigid PU profiles prevents that heat leaves or cold enters the vehicle. Stability and longevity are guaranteed by the use of water-resistant GRP in the underfloor and on the rooftop, which is characterized above all by its hail-protecting properties. With a 380 l fresh water tank, a 250 l waste water and 250 l sewage tank, it is possible to travel independently over a longer period of time.

The new PALACE promises a first-class “WELCOME HOME” feeling in an exclusive and sustainable design and an incomparable driving experience. MORELO once demonstrate their expertise as a premium motorhome manufacturer again this year.

The new PALACE will be on show from the 25th of August until the 2nd of September on the CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf in Hall 5, stand C05.
